Some devices do not support WPA2-Enterprise encryption. WifiPlex allows authentication using the device’s MAC address. This ensures that all devices are connected while maintaining network security.

A MAC address is in the format 0A:0A:0A:0A:00:00.

The MAC ID of your Chromecast is listed at the bottom of the configuration application during the initial configuration step.

If you have never set up your device:
  • Click on add new home if you do not have a home to create and then give it in name

  • Open the Google home app from your device (Tablet,iPhone,Android)

  • Network Setup, enter
  • On the Network Setup – status screen the MAC address should be displayed

Android TV

  • Using TV remote control:
  • Press the help button

  • The address will be displayed under wired MAC address at the top of the screen

After sending the MAC address

Once we have configured your device in our system, you need to connect to the specific network that accepts your device.

The network accepting your device will be named as follows: MAC-BuildingAddress

For example, if your address is 68 Sauriol Your devices must connect to the network: MAC-68
