In the summer of 2025, the new owner of a 36-unit residential building located in Montreal\u2019s Villeray neighborhood contacted Wifiplex for what was initially a simple project: installing a modern security camera system to secure the common areas. The recently acquired building had good potential but lacked technology suited to the tenants\u2019 current needs. The owner therefore wanted to improve security while increasing the building\u2019s perceived value. <\/p>

Needs Analysis and Expanded Proposal<\/b><\/p>

During the technical inspection, our team found that the building lacked both a structured network and reliable Wi-Fi coverage in the common areas. Tenants were each using their own individual connections, which resulted in dead zones, interference, and an inconsistent user experience. In addition, the on-site manager had to deal with recurring intercom issues, which made it difficult for residents to enter the building. <\/p>

    This comprehensive approach not only enhances security, but also increases rental value and resident satisfaction. <\/p>

    The entire installation was completed in less than two weeks, including structured cabling, network configuration, installation of Wi-Fi access points, setup of smart cameras, and modernization of the intercom system. Our team coordinated the work to minimize disruptions for tenants. <\/p>
